Colin Waller is a "Christian who is a musician", a distinction he likes to emphasise. He believes that music is a God given gift and has to be used in every form of both his professional and church life. As a result he composes both songs about his faith as well as comments about life, love and living! His work in church music includes having written musicals and celebrations before these became common occurrences is the church music genre-list. He won the "Sing Good News" and BBCTV "Festival of New Hymns" songwriting competitions and has appeared on radio and TV as both an artist and Musical Director. The highlight of his career was the UK Premier of his rock-anthem "Long Live The King" at "Prom Praise" in the Royal Albert Hall, London.

He was Director of Music & Worship at the renown "Upton Vale Baptist Church" in Torquay Devon at the turn of the 21st century and is currently one of the worship leaders of Brixham Baptist Church. He has an eclectic repertoire of music using many established songwriters material, as well as his own, in Worship events plus developing modern arrangements of many of the great "Hymns of the Church"! Colin often cites Michael W. Smith and Ron Kenoly as great influences on his musical styles but also enjoys developing the "Prom Praise" ethos of Symphonic Praise. A keyboard player, guitarist and drummer (as well as French Horn!!) he is keen to encourage young players in workshops. For events he can bring an assortment of ensembles of anything from 5 piece band upwards depending on budget. He relies on gifts for his own ministry but does use professional colleagues and technology to provide the "musical experience" in the worship scenario.
